Pete the pig is one of the primary characters in the Doug's 'N' Rachel's band and a major antagonist in Those Nights at Rachel's.
Appearance[]
Pete is a pink pig animatronic with a small, black top-hat which has a silvery-white line around the lower half of his hat, and wears a red, generic workman's tie that goes over his shoulders. He has droopy ears only joined by metal tendons with light blue eyes. Like most of the other animatronics, he has no eyebrows but lumps where they should be. He has a somewhat bloated belly with shoulder paddings and arms that nearly reaches his knees, and has hands with four fingers. Like Bane, he has black hooves instead of feet.
During gameplay, his eyes will always be a shiny black with white pupils, and in Hard Mode, like the rest of the characters, his pupils go from white to red, and his entire body is covered in a grunge texture.
Behavior[]
He will always start in the Stage, and like the others, he can be the first up to the last character to move from their initial position. He can randomly move to the Parts and Services room, the East Hall, or the Arcade Room 2, while never returning to the stage, sometimes making a deep moaning sound whenever he moves to the Arcade Room 2 or the office's right doorway.
The player must check the right doorway with the flashlight and, if he is there, close the doorway or hide under the desk until metallic footsteps are sometimes heard faintly, indicating that he has left, although these are not always heard. Otherwise, Pete will enter the office and jumpscare the player, ending the night.
Trivia[]
- Pete has the same path as Bane, similar to Rachel and Doug.
- Pete is the only one to not have a unique pose while on the Stage.
- His poster slogan, "LET'S EAT" is the same as Chica's from the original Five Nights at Freddy's.
- During his jumpscare, Pete will slam the player's head against the office desk.
- He and Bane have very similar designs.
- They both wear a top-hat and a tie, except Bane who wears bracelets laced with spikes,
- They are both farmland animals.
- They are the only ones to have hooves as feet.
- Pete, Rachel, and Doug, are the only characters to be featured in a poster.
- A strange grey ring can be seen behind Pete's head in his poster. It is not know what this could be.
- Pete's moans heard through the game are actually slowed down edits of the original Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic moans.
- Like the others, the metallic steps that Rachel and the others do are, in exception of one, edited renditions from the metallic steps from Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
- Pete is the only animatronic from Those Nights at Rachel's to not appear in the sequel Those Nights at Rachel's 2: Reloaded, although begin mentioned in the credits as "and not Pete".
- In a question channel in the official Fanverse Discord server, Nikson has confirmed that Pete loves bread. 🍞
- While this is likely satire and a joke from a the TNaR wiki, it could be seen as an actual personality trait of Pete's.
